- explanations.app is a blackboard-oriented web app that helps Youtube teachers "tutor" lots of students for 1/10th the cost of private tutoring. This is because video explanations can be re-used between students, so when any student asks a specific question, it benefits other students without the teacher having to re-explain it. - Raised $500K seed with OSS Capital & turned down a $40K Github donation from MIT IS&T- Served ~10 MIT classes ~800 students during covid (2020-2021) with a web app that makes it easy for teachers to divide their class into small groups; teachers can move freely between different blackboard rooms, talk to the students there with voice chat, and draw on the blackboards together
