Cut assembly time by 25% and cost by 10%; this was accomplished through the removal of redundant procedures and merging compatible tasks, substituting in parts that demanded less precision during assembly, and relocating components to streamline installation● Design items in CAD, hold design reviews, make drawings, contact machine shops (or fabricate in-house), build and test the prototypes, analyze any failures and improve the designs, test again, modify designs as needed to be production ready, then work with vendors for mass production● Demo the product(s) to potential customers. ● Identified and troubleshot 700+ mechanical, electrical, and quality control issues during the Production Validation Testing (PVT) of the FMTV A2 (next-gen military logistics truck). ● Served as the liaison between military entities and cross-functional engineering teams at Oshkosh Defense. I reported Operational Mission Failures (OMFs) and helped formulate immediate fixes/"field repairs" and production-ready solutions.● Advised the customer on reliability and performance testing, determined failure criteria, and directed corrective action.● Organized downtime for trucks to incorporate mechanical, electrical, and software modifications, ensuring they met our standards for production readiness and addressed previous OMFs. ● Oversaw the spare parts inventory and proactively ordered items with long lead times to prepare for upcoming tests.
