I am passionate about most sports. I am still actively involved in football, playing for Ckaudelands a Rovers in Hamilton. I also coach junior footbal, cricket, softball and athletics. I currently run the football programme at my school Peachgrove Internediate School and I am also the head football coach at the school. I take a school football team to the annual Gold Coadt Youth Cup on the Gold Coast in Australua - every year. We have been very successful at this international football tournament. I have also taken a youth football team to the International FIFA tournament in Saitama in Japan - on 5 occasions. I am a family man - love spending time with my wife, Marjorie, who is also a teacher. I have a beautiful daughter Ruschke who is employed in the advertising sector and my young son Jaime just completed his degree in Sport and Leisure Studies at the University of Waikato in Hamilton.I have recently completed my Masters in Educational Leadership, and graduated from the University of Waikato in Hamilton. My main area of research was done on Coaching and Mentoring beginning teachers and also to retain beginning teachers in the profession. I would like to do my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at some stage. I enjoy teaching young children equipping them with life skills and knowledge.
