Care About Climate is a youth-led movement that is based out of US and with representation in 30+ countries across the world. We work to empower young people with the requisite skills, knowledge, and access for meaningful engagement in international climate policy spaces, aligned with other pressing global issues. The description below (and more) highlights my role within the organisation• General coordination and programs implementation support including the NDCs Equity Tracker program, COP Training program, and the Climate Ambassadors program• Establishing and maintaining working relationships with partners and acting as the direct point of contact. • Supporting joint material development, policy papers, and operational documents for publication • Facilitating implementation of organization wide project, webinars and side events at international convenings including the UNFCCC, Climate Weeks, and SBs • Acting as a spokesperson for the organization at international convenings and media• Managing volunteers and helping them to think throuhg their roles

The Climate Ambassadors Program and Community of Practice creates a platforms for global youth to be educated about climate change and equipped with requisite skills for thoughtful leadership in their communities including providing them with climate toolkits, and helping them to establish their on-ground projects in their respective communities. In this role, I discharged the following roles;Coordinated the development of the Care About Climate Toolkit and curriculums for the handbookDirectly mentored and managed two (2) Ambassadors and helped them to kickstart their nonprofits in their communitiesSupported Ambassadors with best practices on resources mobilization and leveraged my international networks to strengthen their partnerships baseCreated platforms for Ambassadors to learn from existing experts in their fields, including waste management and agroecologyManaged volunteer onboarding and helping them to think through their roles Delegated roles and tasks among the global team and followed-up on efficient and timely delivery

The Youth in Agroecology and Restoration Network is a network of youth-led initiatives in Africa, working at the intersection of, and youth leadership in food systems, climate change, and biodiversity, to address the trio challenges of food security, rural poverty, and climate change.Role Description• Educating and building the capacity of young people and smallholder farmers across Africa and beyond on climate change and its nexus with agriculture, and adaptation best practices • Consulting for other food and environmental entities on matters relating to youth engagement and capacity building in agrifood systems transformation and sustainable food systems.. Organizing stakeholder consultation and dialogue among farmers, policy makers, food systems researchers, environmentalist and other food systems actors to co-creation food systems transformation • Implementing strategies for networking and cohesion building among project team and volunteers of the movement • Facilitating implementation of organization wide project, webinars and representation at international convenings including the UNFCCC, Climate Weeks, and SBs

The World Food Forum connects and empowers young people around the globe with different backgrounds to discuss their local priorities and challenges, and identify innovative and actionable solutions for a better food future.Role Description• Representing the Youth Mechanism at the meetings of the inter-agency structures in the UN and relevant processes of the Youth2030 Strategy • Coordinating the drafting of short briefs and position papers to respond to an established engagement strategy for negotiations, official meetings, and other kinds of relevant events to ensure meaningful inclusion if youth perspectives in policy formulation.• Managing development and execution of the Mechanism work plan on policy advocacy, youth action, knowledge and capacity building.• Coordinating Youth Assembly and Consultation with political leaders and ministers to facilitate meaningful youth engagement in agrifood systems transformation for climate action at the local and international• Facilitating regional and global consultation with global youths to identify policy priorities for food systems transformation from the perspective of young people

The Youth For Our Planet movement in Africa is currently represented in 34 African countries, and with over 500 active mobilizers• Background reading/staying up to date with global developments, particularly around major processes (particularly UNCBD, UNFCCC). • Leading on content development for digital and foot-on-ground advocacy and campaigns around climate justice, and policy • Co-facilitating close professional relationship with all stakeholders including the steering committee members, partners, members, colleagues, and volunteers • Implementing strategies for networking and cohesion building among the international, regional, and national members and volunteers on the movement. • Establishing relationships with Birdlife partners in key countries, identifying collaboration opportunities with YfOP Africa, and acting as the first point of contact for the organization in Africa • Preparing strategy documents, overview documents, and induction materials for mobilisers in Africa and the wider movement • Managing regional and countries drop-in calls for the movement (on average once per fortnight)

• Gave strategic advice and report results and findings to the National Director and board members• Kept all the relevant stakeholders informed on development with the organisation’ objective and projects• Co-managed resources and personnel, including budgeting, attracting, and hiring of personnel• Increased donor funding by $47,000 USD within the year of engagement• Implemented strategies for networking and cohesion building among the national team, local coordinators, and members.• Supported the Country Director on funding and resources mobilization • Followed-up on good governance implementation in local chapters• Led on YVE Nigeria information database annual update• Prepared and compiled YVE Nigeria newsletters and communication material• Collated annual reports from local chapters and compiled it for submission to JVE international• Facilitated joint material development, policy papers, and operational documents for publication• Ensured employees’ engagement is in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.• Kept a close professional relationship with all stakeholders including the International Director, National Director, Funders, Chairman, board members, as well as staff, and volunteers• Researched and implemented new initiatives to drive organizational objectives and keep abreast with global discussions and processes.• Led on continuous and detailed monitoring of the annual budget, and ensured that project targets are met with allocated resources.• Coordinated an office of 12 team members, and supported up to 50 Volunteers across the country

• Coordinated monthly capacity building programs on green businesses organized for young people in communities around the institution • Identified and recruited facilitators for trainings and capacity building programs• Coordinated the activities and projects of the school leadership club.• Supervised record management, related staff and resource persons for the school’s vocational training and capacity building programs. • Prepared monthly activities reports, inventories, surveys, and briefs for the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development Studies (CEDS) management committee.
