About Emily Luna
Hello! I am a rising senior, Sociology major at the University of California, Berkeley, minoring in Public Policy. I am interested in pursuing a career in immigration law, family law, corporate law, and policy work as a whole. As someone with limited legal experience, I am open to exploring areas outside of my interests. I am also incredibly passionate about getting involved with non-profit organizations that support immigrant women and children, and providing vital resources to underrepresented communities. As a Latinx woman who grew up in an impoverished community, I always knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of underrepresented individuals. This stemmed my drive to pursue a career in law or policy. I believe that my personal experiences and background allow me to work closely and sufficiently with underrepresented individuals to advocate for equitable opportunities. My ability to adapt, persevere, willingness to learn, and dedication are just a few characteristics that would make me an astonishing candidate for future positions. Please contact me with any internship, fellowship, job opportunities, or leadership opportunities. Feel free to simply say hi! I am always open to having meaningful conversations, answering any questions, or discussing any opportunities. I can be reached through direct messaging on LinkedIn, or the contact information listed on my profile. I look forward to connecting with you!
