After working for DDD Security in 1998 I became self-employed, mostly installing security systems in domestic properties and small commercial. Also got involved with Gate Automation. In 1998 joined the 'community' at the branch headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses. here is where i got most of my skill certificates (not much need for them in the 1980's). Here I managed an ELV in-house team of 9 for design, install and maintenance of Security systems, Access control and fire alarm detection (Addressable and conventional) across 30 properties. Also became proficient in the design, installation of the Data Network physical infrastructure, UPS and public address systems.I also assisted with electrical work throughout the years. When I left the HQ of JW's and became self-employed, i started working with an electrician in the Birmingham area. i also passed my electrical domestic course at Trade skills 4U in September 2022.
