The Programs/Communication department allowed me to work on the following: -Draft messages on social media accounts and manage them through Hootsuite-Transcribe -Write/edit formal invitations to high-ranking officials at the local/state/federal level -Perform research for audience development

I read over undergraduate and graduate level papers in order to help improve their writing skills. Some areas in which tutors are trained to help students are: grammar, content, research skills, syntax, word choice, and organization. Writing Center tutors also become conversation partners for international students when needed. This includes helping international students with: expanding their vocabulary, pronunciation, forming sentences and idioms in American culture.

I learned to translate and interpret the science behind the James Webb Space Telescope from English to Spanish. I would provide translation for government documents, social media, blog posts, and also website content. In addition, I also worked with the Educational Outreach team to brainstorm ways in which they could capture local Spanish-speaking audience in the Maryland community.

Representative of the DC College Access Program at the Prince George's Community College- Largo Campus. The goal is to assist students with finding financial aid opportunities as well as help them stay on track towards graduation.
