In Spring 2022, I was privileged to be honored with the Iowa State University Innovations Award, recognizing my role in crafting a pioneering iOS app that redefined college student bartering. This accomplishment, coupled with the guidance and mentorship provided by luminaries like Jim Oliver (President of the Student Innovation Center) and David Slump (CEO of Marelli), ignited a newfound aspiration within me. This summer, drawing inspiration from this accolade, I embarked on the journey of transforming Gutter into a fully-fledged company. As the CEO of Gutter, I'm harnessing the lessons and triumphs of my past to propel innovative solutions and steer my entrepreneurial zeal toward uncharted horizon.

I served as a peer leader for the International First Year Experience Class. In this role, I had the responsibility of assisting incoming international students as they acclimated to life at ISU and adapted to their new life in America. My duties encompassed teaching, delivering presentations, initiating contact, and organizing both group and one-on-one sessions with students to ensure their smooth transition. Additionally, I played an integral part in conceptualizing and executing events aimed at fostering student engagement. By sharing anecdotes from my own journey, I aimed to establish a sense of connection and relatability with the students. Essentially, my role revolved around being both a leader and a safe point of contact for these students.
