Internet Computing & Systems Optimization (ICSO) Research Group (01/10/2022-30/06/2023)SmartLearn Research Group (01/07/2023-present):• Design the doctoral itinerary and the bases for the development of research.• Advancing toward research maturity.• Acquiring experience as an independent researcher.

The initial joint goals of the research stay are:• To develop the next stages of the doctoral research (analyze the results of the first implementation of the learning tool, empathic chatbot) and to work together on the publication of the results in a high-impact journal.• Contribute to the research process of the department's projects linked to the doctoral research (e.g., Komp-HI - flexibly and individually promote technical and interdisciplinary competencies through socio-technical design of hybrid intelligence systems).• Create new networks for future national and international projects supported by our institutions, Open University of Catalonia and University of Kassel.

• Teaching support in the synchronous and asynchronous moments of the teaching-learning process according to the modality, evaluation and analysis of results.• Permanent accompaniment, guidance and orientation to the group of students in terms of self-learning and learning established according to the modality (collaborative, practical and autonomous).• Mediation between the students, the author teacher and the University.• Assessment of students' learning results together with the author.• Participation in tutoring sessions with the author teacher, with a frequency of 2 hours weekly or biweekly, as planned by the responsible of the program.• Participation with the author and/or learning community, in work sessions aimed at rethinking, redesigning and improving the proposal made for the development of the subject, according to the results achieved.

• Under the direction of respective management, prepare student-oriented materials and content for online and hybrid instruction. • Select the best instructional strategies, measurable course articulation and lesson learning outcomes.• Advocate and research best practices for teaching and learning. • Identify and analyze problems that occur during the educational process and develop and implement possible solutions to these problems.• Review courses during the design, development, and delivery phases to ensure that the design is pedagogical and instructional. • Incorporate innovative methods for content delivery in online, hybrid, and in-person environments using appropriate technologies. • Work with responsible management to develop a robust, ongoing professional development program for internal and external clients. • Analyze and evaluate new instructional tools and technologies, and recommend appropriate tools and approaches to improve course design and delivery. • Ensure online educational resources are accessible, up-to-date, and functioning properly. • Manage special projects, as appropriate. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Elaboration, planning and evaluation of actions oriented to provide tutoring, academic reinforcement, tutorial action and homework at all educational levels in a face-to-face, blended and virtual manner.

The activities carried out are:• Support to the activities performed by the academic staff.• Conducting tutoring of pre-professional internships.• Direction of practical and laboratory learning, under the coordination of a professor.• Other management activities carried out with the ordinary academic processes of the institution.• Other activities defined by the immediate supervisor.
