I finished an internship at Morrisville Cat Hospital where I learned animal handling skills, worked in boarding and feeding cats, and shadowing doctors during examinations and surgeries. Before this internship, I had experience in pet sitting, fostering, and animal science classes at school. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since second grade, and have look for places to gain experience and learn new things in a hands-on environment. I am also a member of the Athens Drive FFA chapter, and have participated in animal related activities through this. After looking at all of my experiences and the hardships that were part of them, I am still confident that I want to be a veterinarian and that I can reach my goal.
