Responsibilities as a buying broker were to obtain pricing from all shippers in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina to provide the best possible pricing with quality to the customer base. After sales were made coordinate logistics to confirm all trucks pick up product correctly and arrived at appointment times. Accomplished a steady increase of sales for Fresh-Veg Distributing by recruiting a customer base that was acquired by visiting face to face all over the U.S.A and cold calling prospective customers. Responsible for trucks to loaded with correct product with the assurance that quality was up to Fresh-Veg Distributing standards. Would load up to 15 trucks a week by picking them up at truck stops within the Nogales area guiding them to sometimes multiple warehouse on some orders. Quality product was pick out of the lot then made sure it was loaded onto truck. If there was any shorts on the order due to bad quality or wrong size I was in charge of informing the buyer or customer. Assisted sales with PO’s, confirmation of sales and shipment paper work.
