• Set up and implement food safety system (BRCGS) • Maintain, monitor, and update the system when applicable• Ensure relevancy of SOP, work instructions, and testing plans• Ensure incoming materials and final products are in conformance with specifications and quality deliverables• Analyze and investigate product complaints in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements• Identify deviations and support investigations activities (RCA & CAPA) with relevant teams• Carry out internal audits and rectify the findings • Provide and coordinate training to maintain systems, policies, procedures, and core processes• Involve in improvements to process and product controls• Carry out compliance inspection on the production floor and warehouse• In-Process quality control testing for batch productions and release of products• Shelf-life validation for new products

- Implement quality assurance program to monitor product manufacturing so as to ensure compliance statutory requirements such as GMP, ISO22000:2005, AVA/SFA for internal or external audits- Review and implement quality improvement initiatives- Ensure all departments follow the quality management safety- Perform daily inspections of production room, equipment and vehicle hygiene- Follow up on the corrective actions and verification of food safety records- Activate investigation on customer's complaint, find the root cause and take preventive measure- Ensure and maintain ISO22000:2005 system monitoring records and filed accordingly- Responsible for internal food safety audit and assessment matter- Responsible for food premises AVA/SFA licensing audit and related matters- Liaise with external parties (laboratory, certification body, chemical suppliers, pest control)- Ensure food products are complying to the food regulations for exporting to Australia

- Process all customer enquiries (pertaining to quality, systems, sustainability, bank details etc) in the form of Raw Material Questionnaire, Self-Assessment Questionnaire, declaration letter, code of conduct, vendor registration, plant audit request, website portal and other relevant requests - Coordinate and work closely with the marketing/sales personnel to obtain necessary details on customer, products, packaging and specification before working on the questionnaires- Liaise with person-in-charge from different department such as Quality System, Traceability, Sustainability, Legal and Finance to obtain necessary details.- Assess and ensure customer requirements from each enquiries are met- Ensure the deadline of each customer enquiries is met- Guide / help Marketing personnel in answering customer’s general queries (e.g. FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, REACh, SEDEX related questions) via email- Obtain approval from the Director prior to releasing confidential information - Attended and involved in internal audit as an auditee for existing SOP- Provide all resources needed for audit and co-operate with the auditor in order to ensure an effective and efficient audit process- Determine and initiate corrective actions plan based on the audit report

- Assist the application scientists in prototype preparation in food categories such as such as beverage, dairy, baked and convenience goods- Assist in starch demonstration for gelling and non-gelling properties- Assist in testing for solubility and dispersibility of starches - Make use of food ingredients such as fibers, modified food starches and sweeteners in product development such as yoghurt- Final year project on investigating the use of modified food starches to make stable beverage emulsions and stability in application of Ready-To-Drink (RTD) drinks- General upkeep of the laboratory and inventory maintenance
