Having come to the law after a previous life in hospitality management, I've carried with me my love of fine dining, good wine and baking indulgent goodies for my co-workers. I have a true passion for dispute resolution and enjoy the challenges and changeable nature of the field. Working across a variety of jurisdictions in a wide range of commercial and insolvency related disputes, my experience thus far has been broad and has given me an extensive understanding of a variety of areas of law. I believe my background in community theatre has been very useful in assisting me to be a good advocate and presenter, as well and making me well versed in the use of the dramatic pause.After having had the benefit of working on some truly interesting insolvency and commercial litigation matters I undertook a Graduate Certificate in Communication, specialising in Public Relations and Risk Management. In 2022, I pivoted my career into Legal Operations, taking up the role of Knowledge Lawyer - Disputes at Russell Kennedy.Since that time I have had the opportunity to delve deep into the workings of a busy, diverse firm and assist areas such as Public Litigation and Regulatory Compliance, Insurance and Compensation, Workplace Relations and Employment Services, Dispute Resolution and Government, Planning & Education streamline their workflows and processes, create Know How Guides and other supporting and training documentation for common proceedings and clients, curate knowledge across teams for easy access, and automate suites of documents for faster, more accurate generation. I thoroughly enjoy applying my decade+ of knowledge and skills in litigation, disputes and insolvency to the development of knowledge and efficiency tools to benefit the firm. I am currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate of Legal Operations with the College of Law to further my knowledge and skills, and increase my value to the firm.
