I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in July 2020, achieving a high first degree classification with an average of 78% in BSc Criminology and Sociology. I was extremely proud to be awarded the highest overall grade across all undergraduate programmes in the Department of Law and Criminology for the academic year. Whilst completing my degree I extensively developed my critical thinking skills and gained a thorough understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analysis. I also developed knowledge in academic areas specific to the Criminal Justice System, Policing and Risk Assessments.I have experience of working as both Performance and Strategic Analyst and Programme Support Officer at the Office of the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner. I also worked as Performance and Continuous Improvement Officer at the College of Policing, managing the organisation’s internal audit and assurance programmes, the risk management arrangements at corporate and strategic level and performance management reporting. I currently work as Senior Analyst in Futures and Innovation within the Research, Analysis and Knowledge Sharing Department at the College of Policing. I co-chair the Young Professionals Network at the College. The network provides a safe space to share experiences and challenges, meet like minded people and provide recommendations to help reduce age-related barriers in the workplace.
