I also led our Trust & Safety team, running a 30 person operations team that created and enforced TPT's platform policies including those related to Fraud, Intellectual Property (IP) rights, and UGC content moderation across 7+ MM educational resources. We even trained an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to accelerate our content moderation efforts before ChatGPT. I led TPT through an acquisition of a digital tool company (BaxPax) and ultimately the exciting sale of TPT to IXL Learning in under six weeks. Previously I served on the Executive Teams at Zocdoc and Mealpal. At Zocdoc I gained experience in healthcare regulatory law (including Stark and Anti-Kickback regulations) and data privacy and security (including HIPAA), while overseeing litigation, employment and corporate governance. At MealPal, I established four international subsidiaries (the UK, Canada, France and Australia), launching a new market every quarter, and settled an SDNY trademark infringement lawsuit, while overseeing all commercial contracts and technology transactions. My corporate roles build on six years of litigation, regulatory, and internal investigation experience advising public company Boards of Directors and CEOs at Davis Polk & Wardwell. Prior to that I clerked for the Honorable Rosemary S. Pooler on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the District of Connecticut and the New York State Office of the Attorney General. Before law school, I worked in economic research and investment banking.
