I am responsible for the proper handling and care of over 35 dogs at a time. I work in a fast paced environment in which I must multitask and pay close attention to detail. My ability to communicate effectively with my co-workers is what makes each work day run smoothly. This position allows me to use my problem solving and analytic skills to assure a safe environment for myself and all the dogs I am responsible for. My job is to keep up with the duties of the kennel while maintaining the health, happiness and exercise needs of the dogs.

I was responsible for promoting Canine Company and the Invisible Fence Brand around the Southern New Hampshire and north of Boston areas. I made visits to veterinarians, groomers, animal shelters, and other pet/family-related establishments in hopes of establishing strong relationships with new and existing influencers. I was also responsible for helping seek out events and identifying unique partnership opportunities based off of my findings and experiences in the field.It was my job to inform existing influencers of any new products or services that Canine Company offered at the time, replenish any marketing materials for customers/patients, and get the establishments excited about the value Canine Company can provide to them. A large aspect of my internship was being able to encourage questions and provide solutions to peoples' needs and wants based on the products and services Canine Company provides. I was able to use my enthusiasm for animals as a way to engage conversation on a more personal and friendly level. This allowed me to develop more memorable visits with the 200+ influencer visits I made over the course of my internship.By the end of my internship, I signed up over 30 new influencers to join Canine Company in a partnership. A majority of these new influencer sign-ups were a result of my own independent research on the prime markets of the company.
