Provide DMH intake assessment, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term therapy to chronically mentally ill adults, couples and families.Monitor condition of clients to evaluate potential treatment and adapts interventions as needed.Provide some case management to include referral and links to community support services, psychiatrist, medical care, housing, rehabilitation programs, drug/alcohol services and social activity groups.Assist with determining 5150 holds for clients presenting a danger to self or others.Interface and collaborate with clinic psychiatrist regarding treatment.Monitor and maintain DMH documentation of client services; ensures compliance with Agency policies and procedures; county; and other related agencies standards and guidelines.

Co-facilitate a men’s HIV+ support group to foster interpersonal relationships, alleviate depression and discuss specific issues relating to sexuality and HIV. Supply some case management to clients including referrals to community services, residential drug/alcohol treatment programs and activity groups.
