I presented science concepts to children aged 4-12 years old in schools as part of the Mad Science extracurricular education program. The goal of the Mad Science curriculum is to get kids excited about science and provide hands-on learning opportunities to explore physics, biology and chemistry concepts. My favourite unit was about oceans, the differences between fresh and salt water and the life of sea creatures.

As a research assistant in an ecology lab, I augmented my 4th year undergraduate thesis project with entomologist Dr. Alex Smith.
