I was responsible for coordinating a project aimed at training 150 employees on malnutrition and diet-related diseases. This included managing the project's budget as well as monitoring and evaluating the project's activities and impact. Among other tasks, I developed projects for national and European calls for proposal on issues related to youth employment integration and social inclusion. I established partnerships with local actors and public institutions to foster collaboration around key projects.

My responsibilities included drafting parts of in-depth policy reviews on the development of social entrepreneurship and innovation in various European countries. This included the participation in a field study to Estonia to gather inputs from various stakeholders (ministries, banks, academia, social entrepreneurs...) on challenges to developing social entrepreneurship and innovation. I also supported OECD-European Commission projects through research (i.e. social finance, impact investing, impact measurement), design of presentation material and social media management.

Drafted the first advanced version of the "Rough Guide to Entrepreneurship Promotion in Forced Displacement Contexts", drawing from evidence collected in the field in Ethiopia, existing academic literature and case studies (Cameroon and Jordan). The guide provides practitioners with practical insights and recommendations on how to implement entrepreneurship tools in forced displacement settings, with the aim of fostering social cohesion among refugees and host communities, and helping refugees overcome barriers to business creation. This timely guide was published while forced displacement is becoming increasingly global in scope and protracted in nature, and whereas the issue of refugees' economic impact is graining traction from the international community.

Produced the "Guide for Business Plan Competitions : Getting Entrepreneurship Contests Right". The aim of the guide is to provide guidance to practitioners and partner organisations on how to plan and run business plan competitions (and similar competitions) in a simple and customisable manner, so as to promote private sector development. It draws from ILO's experiences in Egypt, Kenya, South Africa and Yemen, as well as on external literature. It concludes with recommendations on how to make their impact in terms of entrepreneurship promotion last in time. Among other tasks, I was responsible for providing technical assistance on projects related to business development, women entrepreneurship development and value chain development. I also worked on the SME Unit's communication strategy by producing communication material (newsletters, brochures) and revamping the website.

Produced research to raise awareness about political prisoners worldwide. Wrote reports on democracy promotion and human rights violations in Africa and the Middle East.

Beirut District, Lebanon

Undertook data analysis on various socioeconomic issues and revised evaluation reports for programmes implemented in Lebanon. Collaborated with UN agencies to design joint policies to overcome national socioeconomic challenges.
