Working as a contractor in the Naval Medical Logistics Command with Universal Consulting Services, Inc.• Manage over $30,000,000 worth of maintenance contracts with several vendors for specific medical equipment in the Navy’s medical treatment facilities.• Act as the liaison between the biomedical technicians at the MTFs and the vendors providing service to the medical equipment regarding issues or contractual changes.• Develop draft specifications for medical equipment maintenance contracts and provide draft technical evaluations of contractor proposals to ensure compliance to contract specifications. • Summarize analysis results, evaluate recommendations, and prepare recommended specifications, action items, and briefings. • Aid in the preparation and presentation of recommendations and solutions based on analysis/evaluation, including reports, proposals, charts, and graphs. • Provide diverse professional biomedical engineering services and review and develop draft technical specifications for medical equipment. • Review, analyze, and provide recommendation for equipment packages from MTF based on their requirements and provide draft technical packages with recommendations to agency personnel. • Assist in integrating and coordinating new and emerging medical equipment technologies into the U.S. Navy. • Expand Clinical Engineering knowledge by attending national conferences and seminars.
