I’ve always considered myself a young entrepreneur, from a young age I was making different products and small businesses to make money. Whether it was sitting at the end of my driveway for hours in a small shelter, or walking shop to shop trying to sell my products (these were often Jams, gardening services, etc). As soon as I was old enough to get a real job, I did. I have been in the workforce from age thirteen, and have worked in many different jobs over the past six and a half years. I started at Subway, as a sandwich artist, then to a small cafe called Michael’s cafe where I learnt to be a kitchen hand, waitress, and to make coffee. Since then I have worked in few different cafes, where I have had the opportunity to manage, train, and recruit new staff. I found a real love for interacting with people and making coffee, and have stuck with this career choice throughout high school and since finishing. However, I think it’s time to branch out and develop further skills, as I’d like to go further than being a barista. I consider myself to have a mature, professional attitude, and believe I would be a good fit for a recruitment role.
