Human behavior has always fascinated me--and is the connective tissue of my career. I spent the first part of my career as a creative marketing leader managing high-profile, award-winning marketing campaigns for some big named brands. In marketing, I was able to use some skills that come naturally to me–collaboration, creative problem-solving, communication, empathy, and compassion. I was fortunate to work with some of the most creative minds ‘in the biz’ and develop into a leader that people want to follow. I’ve worked for great and no-so-great leaders at large matrix organizations and startups. There is not much I personally haven’t experienced. On the side, I get asked to help with a marketing project occasionally, or I get to flex those muscles as a Rye Youth Council board member. Today, I get to put my experience and my education into practice as a professional coach and leadership trainer. My superpower is creating a safe space for people to talk and be vulnerable. I listen to what is being said and, more importantly, what isn’t. I am committed to helping people evolve and improve their leadership and managerial skills. I truly believe that you can be kind and effective at the same time. My goal is to work with my clients and move them to take action toward their goals (no, I don’t tell you what to do, and I don’t solve your problems–you do). As a trainer, I give you the tools and skills needed to improve in a relevant and relatable way so you can put those skills to work in your day-to-day. Fun is one of my core values regarding work, so training with me should be just that. I believe that people can change if they are motivated to do so. Change is hard and takes work, but it is so rewarding when you do.Outside of work, I serve on the Board of the Rye Youth Council, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support children, teens, and young adults' social and emotional health and mental well-being.
