Managed a team of 2 reports, 20+ seasonal employees, and oversaw Summer Program Operations with $1M+ budget while ensuring multiple facility, vendor, and programming partnerships aligned with long-term strategy, and adapted plans to successfully and safely run three camp sites in three jurisdictions in the midst of a pandemic. Developed guiding principles for onsite team dynamics, hiring structure, training paths, content, and goals while building and maintaining relationships with seasonal hires.

Responsible for all aspects of the residential programs - in-house and third-party - at Episcopal High School. Created, designed, and planned logistically for thematic and exciting activities and field trips for children 8-13 year olds. Cultivated strong relationships with facility partners, education consultants, and outside vendors, while training, managing, living, and working alongside seasonal staff. Managed and coordinated the needs of visiting third-party day and residential youth programs.

Supported County Extension Agents in Cameron and Willacy Counties during implementation of Healthy South Texas Initiative, including promotion, development, implementation, budgeting, and tracking and reporting community activities. - Implemented large-scale, research-based diabetes, nutrition, cooking, and physical activity curricula in the form of highly visible, interactive public events, outreach programs, and interpretive presentations at schools, worksites, and community functions. - Developed promotional materials to effectively maintain community presence and increase awareness of AgriLife as a community health resource. - Cultivated and expanded partnerships with community stakeholders, sponsors, and elected officials through Healthy South Texas Coalitions and public events in multiple cities. - Recruited, trained, and supervised a corps of Healthy South Texas Youth Ambassadors in two counties, providing opportunities for skill development, public speaking, and community involvement.- Involved in revision and enhancement of the Walking School Bus program guide, the Family Mealtime program kit, and the Maintain No Gain program kit.

Summer 2014 and 2015 - Assistant Director. Assisted and supported the Camp Director in staff management, parent communication, material supply, and field trip planning. Planned and facilitated staff training for 14 counselors, activity specialists, and CITs. Planned camp schedules for up to 6 individual camper groups, totaling 120 girls. Supervised and evaluated staff throughout the summer. Maintained communication with GSEP supervisors, camp parents, and campers ages 6-17.

Created the Joppa Flats Summer Camp, organized and planned camp sessions, and supervised the successful accreditation through the American Camp Association. Worked with community groups to provide field trips for the campers. Hired, trained, and supervised the camp staff and LITs. Evaluated the camp sessions. Communicated with parents of campers. Attended American Camp Association conferences and trainings.

Hired as a Summer Education Intern in May 2010 to work with school and summer outdoor science education programs. Continued work through Fall 2010 as an Education Volunteer, leading and assisting with programs. Hired as a Teacher Naturalist in January 2011 to teach and develop science education programs for schools, children, and families along the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Assistant Swim Coach for nationally ranked Andover-North Andover YMCA Swim Team, the Hurricanes. Developed and ran practices for the Monsoon 1's and 2's, children aged 9-12, while developing positive role-model relationships with the swimmers.

Student worker for Kris Conant, Administrative Assistant, and the Drama department. Helped with copies, scheduling interviews, preparing for shows. As Box Office House Manager and Worker, supervised guest attendance at and during shows, worked with the director on intermissions, proper entrance breaks, and managed any issues during the shows.

Assisted Housing and Residential Life Staff with data entry, managing the office during staff meetings, making signs, running errands for staff.

Summer 2008 - Education Docent: interacted with guests, children and families of all ages, answered questions about the exhibits and animals in them, organized and helped the Shark Week activities run smoothly. Summer 2009 - Marketing Intern: worked with the Director of Marketing to organize and research guests for the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. (These internships were at the now closed National Aquarium in Washington, D.C.)

Supervised 2 years of female freshmen in residence halls, developed positive and trusting relationships with residents, went on rounds in the Freshmen Quad residential buildings, worked with other staff to create educational and social programming, was on the Healthy Community Council, attended staff meetings, developed relationships with Assistant Deans and Dean of Residential Life.
