Trainee Administrator
Paines Plough is a new writing touring theatre company. As Trainee Administrator, my responsibilities include the processing and raising of invoices; organising rehearsal room bookings; reconciling petty cash and company credit cards; collating and responding to unsolicited script submissions; updating the website; greeting all visitors; being the first point of contact via email, phone and in person; and much more. During Edinburgh Fringe, I helped to manage our Visitor Services Team, ensuring that all patrons at our Roundabout venue had a good experience. This included: ensuring everyone was comfortable and familiar with their job and updating the VS Team during daily briefings; assisting in selling play texts after each show and distributing flyers; keeping the team motivated and energetic during long days.
