My passion towards the field of tourism continues to flourish more each day. My interest in the industry begins on my own doorstep as I am a real advocate of everything Scotland has to offer. Scottish culture, heritage and traditions are so unique and are as extremely fascinating as anywhere throughout the world. I am an outgoing adventure seeker and very enthusiastic towards extending my knowledge of tourism and international destinations. Regarding my future plans, studying a degree in Tourism has presented me with the best possible platform to launch my career within the industry. I have an interest in pursuing an employment path with destination management organisations and further enhancing my language skills. The range of skills and knowledge gained from studying International Tourism Management has opened many doors within the sector.As I am a hardworking and reliable individual, I constantly strive to have a positive approach towards work. I am a helpful and polite person which I feel is very important when interacting with the public. As well as being able to work independently, I am a motivated team player who is prepared to take on any task that is presented to me. With my experience in working in Customer Service for over seven years, I have gained confidence and improved my organisation skills and attention to detail so that I can aspire to be as successful as possible in any role. I am able to adapt to new technologies and databases with ease, enjoy new challenges and I am competent in operating Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail.
