- Ensures that all pharmacy staff are meeting competencies requirements for the different pharmacy departments- Ensures the development and implementation of annual educational plans for all pharmacy staff- Responsible for the hiring process of new pharmacists and organizing orientation programs for newly hired pharmacists- Coordinates external programs with preceptors within the different pharmacy departments

• Supervise ICU pharmacists /pre and post-operative Surgical-Neurosurgery department pharmacists: o Employee performance review. o Ensures compliance with policies/procedures and regulatory requirements o Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work• Work with team to establish a unit-based strategic plan; create unit-based goals to ensure accountability for working towards achievement of this plan.• Coordinate teaching and learner experiences (students, interns)• Recognition of expertise in critical care leadership, scholarship, teaching, and/or clinical practice at a local and national level.• Consultant at “57357 CCHE – Egyptian ministry of health MOH” project for applying clinical pharmacy in different MOH hospitals. • Serves as a liaison between the critical care medical directors, nursing managers, and pharmacy

- Attending patient care rounds & participating in pharmaceutical care plan to each patientaccording to his clinical condition determined by physician (Adding or stopping medications,dose modifications, nutritional support, sedation in MV patients, Inotropic support & others).- Assessment and reporting of adverse drug reactions, drug-drug interactions, drug-diseaseinteraction and recommending alternatives.- Therapeutic drug monitoring(TDM)- Member of code blue team.- Using Cerner system in writing all medications order, TDM, medication reconciliation, progressnotes and pharmacy clinical interventions.

- Checking chemotherapy protocol and doses written by physician.- Education of patients and parents about appropriate medication administration and sideeffects.- Dealing with Febrile Neutropenia protocol (Antibiotics choice & duration, Antifungals).

- Preparing IV medications (including various antibiotics & chemotherapy) through aseptictechnique.- Assuring compatibility and dilution of prepared medication
