Emahn Counts Esq. is the managing attorney of Counts Law Firm PC, where he practices business, family, and real estate law. He has been licensed for 20 years and is recognized for his practical approach to problem-solving and improving the quality of life for his clients.His cases typically involve financial disputes, and he has personally handled over 1000 litigation matters throughout every major courthouse in Los Angeles County. Prior to opening Counts Law Firm, Mr. Counts was the managing attorney of the Los Angeles office of a nationwide consumer litigation firm where he represented blue-chip clients, including American Express, Porsche Cars North America, and several big banks.Mr. Counts is a Los Angeles native and graduated from Loyola Marymount University + Loyola Law School. In college, while on the Dean's List, he served as the President of the Black Student Union and Co-Founder of the BOC fraternity. In law school, he was selected to the Law Review, was a Regional Champion for the Trial Advocacy Team, and clerked for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.Mr. Counts is currently an Ambassador for Loyola Marymount University's African American Alumni Association as well as the former President-Elect of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He is also an ongoing mentor to the Loyola Law School’s Black Lawyer Student Association. Mr. Counts was recognized as a 2023 'Leader of Influence: Minority Attorney' by the Los Angeles Business Journal. He was ranked among the Three Best Rated Real Estate Lawyers in Pasadena, California. In 2017, he received one of the Top 100 Court Judgments in State of California.
