Here’s a recap of my time with this organization so, take a moment and enjoy my journey with me. During my tenure here so far, I’ve been provided a roadmap for my career journey in the property management industry starting as a Leasing Specialist and growing within my department. TBD supports me in furthering my education, career, and allows me to work in my passion which is guiding, supporting, and training new specialists. This last year, I’ve been awarded Employee of the Quarter, promoted to Sr. Leasing Specialist, and then to Leasing Manager. I have a portfolio of 3 townhome communities in the Humble/Kingwood areas consisting of 136 homes with a new community underway that will bring an additional 92 townhomes. We’ve achieved maintaining an average of 95% occupancy overall! I gained Lease Up experience by traveling to assist a sister community that will have over 800 single-family homes with amenities once it is completed as a master planned community in Rosharon, Tx. This was an amazing learning experience for speed/urgency, delegation, attention to detail/market/rates, and of course working as a team to get these homes leased! I’m always eager to stand in a dual-role of support, guidance, and leadership and of course, lease! I was able to walk away with a closing ratio of 162% at this community doubling my percentage of above 80%. I also received 3 awards recognizing my leasing performance!In this last quarter, I am traveling to train an entire team of Leasing Specialists for 90 days at another sister community and they are excelling at the 95 percentile. As a Leasing Manager, I look forward to sharpening my craft and being a leader by example through support, guidance, and positivity. Overall, my goal is retention, driving morale, adherence to policies, and for our teams to perform at their highest potential confidently in the TBD way. Last but not least, make my company a lot money ! Thanks for sticking around. Although, money may be the thing we need to survive, it won’t be what we need for happiness and peace. Pursue your dreams and dive into your passions; the happiness will find you! I wanted to prove to myself that if I could just walk by faith and jump into something that I’d be good at then; perhaps, I could know what it felt like to operate at my highest potential. That decision has brought me this far and God has opened the door for me every time I’ve knocked! “ Ask, and you will receive, Seek, and you shall find.
