I am an Employee Ownership Consultant and Senior Manager with Baxendale Employee Ownership. I advise businesses exploring and transitioning into employee ownership and support employee owned businesses post-transition. Many of the businesses I work with are looking at employee ownership as a succession solution, an alternative to a trade sale or a management buyout. My specialisms are: Employee Ownership Transition / Change, Governance, Legal Structures and Business ProcessesI first learned about employee ownership as Director of an SME business. I went on to project manage their move into employee ownership and worked with the new employee owners post transition. I then sat on the Board of the Employee Ownership Association; the membership association for employee owned business in the UK. My work with the EOA, which I have been able to continue in different ways since joining Baxendale, has given me the opportunity to get to know many different employee owned businesses and businesses exploring employee ownership.
