I am an enthusiastic and self-driven environmental scientist willing to tackle new environmental challenges. I have ten years of experience in the field of environmental pollution (geochemical transport of heavy metals and emerging contaminants) and remediation. After graduation from McGill University, I have been engaged in several projects aiming to reduce the contamination of domestic wastewater and industrial effluents. Modelling of the transport of heavy metals in filter bed columns is another area of expertise. Recently, I focused on the effects of anthropogenic activities on the aquatic environment, my research focused on the environmental impacts of microplastics on surface water bodies in UK. Moreover, I am interested in the bioaccumulation modeling and the potential pathways of pollutants in surface water.
