I am a professional executive with 28 years of diverse experience spanning public diplomacy, government affairs, International Cooperation projects, cultural exchange, capacity building, management, strategic planning, and research & development.As the Director of the American Center Cairo (ACC) and American Spaces in Egypt (August 2012 to February 2024), I joined the leadership team at the U.S. Embassy's Public Diplomacy Section, leading American Spaces in Egypt and offering consultations locally and globally on cultural and strategic programs that support cultural exchange, diversity, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and technology programing. I was responsible for building and growing partnerships and professional network that served the Public Diplomacy mission. My leadership transformed the ACC into the premier American Culture Center in the Middle East & North Africa, celebrated for its impactful programs fostering socio-economic development. Prior to joining the US Embassy, I worked for the Egyptian Cabinet's Information & Decision Support Center (IDSC) as the manager of Egyptian Libraries Network Project, to develop the Egyptian Libraries using technology. I was team leader who worked on preparing Feasibility Study to Establish a Unified UN Library in Egypt. Worked as Senior Certified E-Commerce Trainer and Researcher for MEDFORIST project led by Grenoble School of Management, with IDSC. I developed training curriculum, content, trained students, post graduates, and executives on e-commerce implementations to advance skills and work.I hold M.Sc in Business Information Technology from Middlesex University in London, and certified Corporate Board Director by the IFC. I earned my certification in ESG Leadership Skills for Transaction to Sustainable Business from University of Cambridge’s Judge School of Business. I also has garnered numerous awards, including recognition as one of Egypt’s “Top 50 Most Influential Women in 2021” for leading programs and initiatives for underserved areas on capacity building for employability skills, soft skills, culture and language, and entrepreneurship for economic prosperity. I enjoy volunteering to support my community and across the Middle East when possible. I am proud that I had the chance to be part of a team who volunteer to help visually impaired student with reading, recording and translating lessons to support their studies.

Some of the important projects that I planned and led: Week-long program Global Entrepreneurship Week; professional camp for advanced women entrepreneurs; capacity building programs for university students and professionals, and the Global Mentoring Walk on community development. I started The White House led project “Academy for Women Entrepreneurs” in Egypt since 2020. I was awarded by the U.S. Embassy for an outstanding initiative in extending service to undeserved populations in Upper Egypt.
