*Managing US$ 121.9 million grant financed by the World Bank and overseeing the strategic contribution of the project in terms of strengthening the national health system, particularly COVID-19 emergency response & preparedness in Sudan, and the day-to-day activities related to the management and implementation of the project, including supply & procurement, project monitoring and evaluation, financial management, and relevant environmental & social safeguard & grievances mechanisms.*Preparing & supervising project work plan and reports and presenting them to the Project Steering Committee and World Bank for approval to ensure the alignment with the National COVID-19 Emergency and Response plan.Identifying & applying the needed implementation arrangements, including accounting, financial control, audit procedures and reporting (on semester and annual basis) as acceptable to the World Bank and the Government of Sudan. *Managed the financing of the first and second national COVID-19 vaccines deployment campaigns to vaccinate more than 2.8 million persons fully.
