As an Algerian-Afghan raised in Los Angeles, I have spent a great deal of my life seeking to highlight and apply my identities — but it certainly has been a balancing act. Growing up in a multicultural environment enabled me to navigate my academic and professional journeys with empathy and adaptability, and instilled in me a third-person point of view, one that helps me understand people and gives the ability to find mutual ground. Acclimated to the nature of balance and finding commonalities, I am a Social Policy and Global Health double major at Northwestern University and additionally earning a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. I am focused on the intersection between policy and health with an interest in marketing, healthcare and management consulting, project management, and strategy analyst roles. While these fields seem isolated, their potential to work in tandem inspires me to assume a collaborative spirit, so let’s collaborate!
