USAID CEP uses a transparent mobilization process as the entry point into partnercommunities, conducting household perception surveys and facilitating community-widemeetings to identify key stressors facing communities and form a Community EnhancementTeam (CET). Throughout the life of the program, the CET serves not only as a key stakeholder,but also as USAID CEP’s primary counterpart. To affect the necessary behavior change toachieve the intended goal of leaving behind stronger, more resilient communities, USAID CEPimplements three sets of integrated activities: Community Engagement: Working closely with the CETs, USAID CEP facilitates the designand implementation of solutions for prioritized community-identified stressors. Networking: Networking activities are designed to strengthen the key stakeholders’ ability toform partnerships, mobilize additional resources, share experiences, and strengthen intracommunitycohesion. Conflict Management and Mitigation (CMM): To ensure that key stakeholders are equippedto operate in a fluid, complex environment and can effectively respond to emergingchallenges, USAID CEP incorporates basic CMM training and offers a response mechanismto shocks and emerging stressors.

present Mapping of targeted communities to identify volunteers, community leaders, leading NGOs and businesses, schools, health centers, youth centers and governmental institutions and other assets. • Identify and follow up with other partners / stakeholders to address community needs. • Organizing and facilitating community meetings in each of the targeted communities • Design process of implementation and follow up of community projects. • Assist in providing technical support to NGOs applying for grants under USAID CEP. • Ensure that USAID CEP’s communications materials (e.g. banners) are visible and present in all events, trainings, ceremonies etc. • Keep an up to date record of major events in the governorate and report on them when necessary; • Submit required weekly and monthly reports by the deadlines. • Support office maintenance and logistics when necessary. • Participate and engage in any USAID CEP trainings and meetings as requested by supervisor. • Ensure cross-program integration, learning, sharing and adoption of best practices from other Global Communities activities and teams. • Ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all programs. • Implement the project activities and collect the community contribution from the end of the end. • Doing activities that seeks to increase involvement of specific segments of the local community (e.g. youth, refugees, people with disabilities, etc.). • Doing Activities that seek to support strengthening community cohesion and resilience’ activities that seek to enable women in targeted communities to play a central role in supporting decentralization. • Assisting the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Team with periodic data collection and activity monitoring
