With over 14 years of experience in museum conservation and mounting, I am a passionate and skilled curator, mount maker, and conservator at The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world. My mission is to preserve, display, and research the cultural heritage of ancient Egypt, and to share it with the public and the academic community.working as the Head of the Mounting for the Exhibition lab, I am responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing mounts for artifacts, ensuring their safety and aesthetic appeal. I also select and acquire new objects for the collection, rotate and update the permanent galleries, and prepare condition reports for loans and traveling exhibits. I obtained my PhD in conservation science from Cairo University, and a diploma in heritage science from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology. as well as participated in various projects and workshops at GEM, received ICOM best participant award for the development of musicological performance.
