“ΝΟΛ” was founded in 1962 by a group of Limassolians and is one of the oldest nautical clubs in Cyprus with over 50 years of history in water sports and counting more than 400 members and a total of 800 athletes in five division; Sailing, Swimming, Rowing, Canoe-Kayaking and Water Polo. One of the first sports introduced at “ΝΟΛ” was Sailing“ΝΟΛ” is based in a convenient location at the seafront of Limassol between Historical city center and the famous Tourist Area. Limassol Nautical Club’s athletes participate every year in the national championships in Sailing, Swimming, Rowing, Canoeing-Kayaking, Water - Polo. Numerous athletes of the Club based on their performance participate every year in International Championships like Youth Windsurfing Championships, Youth World Sailing Championships, European Olympic Youth Festival, Indoor Rowing World Championship, Rowing World Championships, in the Olympic Games and World Championships at the categories of Sailing and Swimming.

• Coordinating and assisting in the daily functioning of all the departments of the Club such as the Marketing Department, the Press office, Administration, Accounting, Ticketing, Technical Manager, etc.• Oversaw the daily operation of the Club, based on the framework and timelines as set out by the Board of Directors and the Directors of the Club.• Supervised and coordinated administration staff for all matters of the Club related to the National Association and the European Football Association in key areas like financial criteria, licensing of the Club for National and European competitions (UEFA Financial Fair Play), etc.• Created the “Apollon Junior Club” whereby through the successful organization of several recreational and social events, the Club’s database was increased.• Ensured communication between players, coaching staff and the Board of Directors regarding payments, contract agreements, and negotiations; coordinated all medical matters in cooperation with the medical team, the administration department and the Cyprus Sports Authorities.• Ensured new PR methods of communication with fans and journalists via social media, the setting up of a new website and video channels.• Supervised and coordinated the proposal of the celebrations for the Club’s 60th anniversary which included events (gala dinner, football tournament, social events), amenities (gifts, amenities of the Club, etc), branding of the 60th anniversary Logo through social media and promotional campaigns.• Represented the Club in several meetings with the Ministry of Justice and Public Order regarding violence in football, hooliganism, operation plans for crucial games, etc.• Organized and attended Board of Directors and Stakeholders meetings when required.

• Managed all the matters of the Club related to the smooth running of its day to day operations• Launched marketing strategies to attract sponsors and create awareness regarding Women’s Football.• Acted as the Club’s contact person for matters related to the National Association and the European Football Association.• Promoted Women’s Football in Cyprus by organizing Club visits at Primary and Elementary schools, sporting and social events.• Established an ongoing cooperation with Frederick University by providing full scholarships for young players of the club, members of the National Team, organising conferences and seminars with sports related topics. • Launched the annual beach soccer tournament for the promotion of Women’s Football in Cyprus and the UEFA Women’s Champions League Tournament which had been hosted by Apollon Ladies in Limassol for 4 consecutive years (2009-2012).• Promoted the Club through several social events and charities.

June - August (2009, 2010, 2011)• Managed, planned and organized the preparation and submission of the proposal to UEFA for the bid to host a group of the qualification round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League in Limassol. • Acted as a contact person between the organizing committee, the National Association, participating teams and UEFA’s Women’s Football Committee.• Ensured deadlines of deliverables of applications and certifications of the tournament.• Launched marketing strategies to attract sponsors and partners for the Club and the tournament. • Ensured coordination between team’s liaisons, referee liaisons and UEFAs’ officials during the tournament.• Managed all matters of the Tournament by providing coordination and assistance to all the Managers and Liaisons, such as the Venue Manager, the Transportation Manager, the Accommodation Manager, teams – referees liaisons, etc.
