Dr. Eman Tabet is a Research Associate at RFI Foundation working on a project to identify climate-related financial risks facing financial institutions. She holds a PhD in Islamic Finance from The International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF)She took part in several projects such as; α Consulting CIMB bank in developing alternative credit assessment for SMEs.β Developing a nation-wide survey to assess SMEs performance, sustainability, and resilience in Malaysiaγ Developing data analytics dashboard for the CIMB bank to monitor the performance of SME's nation-wide.δ Rapporteur for several international conferences (e.g. Symposium on Islamic Finance (World Bank))Currently, Dr. Eman conducts academic and industry trainings and is actively involved in consultancy projects in sustainable and social development in the GCC, Malaysia, and East Africa. She is also a Senior Associate in VentureEthica, a business management consultancy firm providing research, strategic advisory, business development and human capital developing to accelerate the progress of nature based, zero-waste, and zero-emission economies.Her research interests include Green Energy Financing, Sustainable Development, Responsible Investment, Microfinance and SME empowerment, with the focus on Islamic Finance.
