As the Reference and Master Data Lead (formerly Senior Data Architect and Interoperability Policy Adviser) at the Cabinet Office, I am responsible for designing and implementing cross-government approaches for Metadata, Reference and Master data. As well as assisting/work jointly in other areas such as data governance and quality, data architecture, standards and policies across the UK Government.I have 20+ years of experience in these domains in a variety of roles both in the Private and Public Sectors, where I have developed and delivered Business/Data Architecture, designed Data Strategy, implemented Data Governance/Quality Frameworks, and Process Reengineering. I have also supported the interoperability and integration of data across various government departments, agencies, and partners, using my skills in data, business and information architecture. Additionally, I have completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where I learned about the latest trends and innovations in fintech and financial services.I am passionate about using data to drive transformation, innovation, and efficiency in the public sector, and to improve the lives and outcomes of citizens.
