Field Student at the Open University of Tanzania | 25th July - 23rd sept 2024As a Field Student, I gained practical experience in instructional design by developing and delivering high-quality learning materials for online and blended learning courses at the Open University of Tanzania.Key responsibilities included:• Conducting needs assessments and identifying learner requirements.• Designing and developing interactive learning materials, such as e-learning modules, videos, and simulations.• Creating engaging and accessible learning activities, including quizzes, assignments, and discussions.• Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of course content.• Utilizing educational technologies, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools, to create and deliver online courses.• This experience provided me with a strong foundation in instructional design principles, educational technology, and the unique challenges and opportunities of distance education.
