I was part of the development team of a microfluidic at-home device for the molecular detection of COVID-19. We co-designed the microfluidic cartridge together with the CM. I designed and performed experiments in the pre-verification stage of the device, providing high-quality scientific information for design decision-making.

Microfluidics. Development of a electrohidrodynamic (EDH) micromixer with closed loop control optimized by machine learning techniques. Prototyping, execution of experiments, data processing and development of mathematical models and simulations.

PhD in Microfluidics. Studies of capillary-driven flows in porous media and microstructures. Mathematical modelling and experimental work with focus in applications for Life Sciences.
