I worked in different projects for Italian and foreign clients, with both managerial and operating roles. During my experience in Deloitte, I have been involved in the following project areas: • IT Risk Management • Data Analysis and Fraud detection• IT Audit• IT GovernanceHere below the main projects in which I have been involved• Support the Audit Client in IT projects through the mapping of key banking processes in Credit, Financial and Balance sheet areas, analysis of effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems, as well as for understanding and validation of reports and queries generated by IT systems.• Projects aimed to support the Client in the fraud detection: analysis of journal entries in order to identify the entries with impact on audit response to the risk “management override of controls”, mapping of the journal entries with the Trial Balance, reconciliation between Trial Balance and general ledger in order to detect potential fraudulent entries.• Support the IT Governance function as Acting IT Governance leader for an international banking Group, with responsibility for coordination of local resources, supervision of day-by-day activities, quality review of the related deliverables, management and reporting of planned projects to the local CIO and Head-Quarter Management. Main Responsibilities: IT Risk Assessment, SOX programme, definition of a methodological framework and a risk assessment tool.• Third Party Assurance projects (e.g. ISAE 3402 Report) for Italian and international clients • Projects aim to support the Client in order to meet the compliance to regulatory requirements related to payment system, introduced by EBA, evaluating the impacts on the organizational and internal control structure.
