In my -unfortunately- few experiences, I have always been in contact with different people with different cultural and social backgrounds. For this I have to thanks AFS for giving me the chance to do my exchange year in China in 2015/2016. This brought me back to China (after graduating from a Languages oriented high school) where I worked as an English teacher. Currently, I am taking care of the elderly resident in Sifsgaarden, here I am learning how to deal and entertain these people using my communication and intercultural skills along with my creativity. I am also an AFS volunteer where I take care of communication and mail organizing. I've had various experiences as babysitting and school tutoring which helped me develop great communication and service minded skills.
