EducationI gained Ph.D. degree from Aalborg University, Denmark, where I have worked with the department of Learning and Philosophy and with the department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology.Research and TeachingI am passionate and experienced in conducting research inquiries with Participatory Design methods, in cooperation with public as well as private organisations. I am engaged in investigating technologies in relation to people, innovation processes, learning and other skilled practices, from a broader sociocultural perspectives. My ambition is to conduct research at an international level that has theoretical, practical, and methodological outcomes. I am also a dedicated teacher, who is able to engage in a dialogue with her students. I have gained good teaching experience supervising and teaching courses at different levels, mostly within design and digital media related subjects.Research Interests: anthropological research through design, to investigate social interaction mediated through material objects, learning, play and learning, everyday skilled practice in museums and other contexts.Methods and Theories: Design anthropology, user-centred/participatory design methods, interaction design, material culture studies, e-learning, play and playful learning in different contexts, organizational studies, qualitative and quantitative methods.ArtOn the side I have started to work as an artist and freelance illustrator, I contributed to a few publications in Denmark for Dansk Sang, Ugla, and for private commissions as well as a couple of books and portraits in Italy. It was so exciting that I am hungry for more illustration work, so I am open for commissions :)Subjects: Surrealistic art, anthropomorphic nature illustration, botanical subjects, realistic or surrealistic food illustration, urban sketching.I am working to improve my portrait technique and practising 2D digital animation.Techniques: Pencil drawing and sketching, watercolor painting, ink-fine liners, and digital drawing-illustration with Photoshop and Krita (PC) and with Autodesk Sketchbook pro on Samsung Galaxy Tab.
