I started with 3D Printing back in to the year 2000, when I was just a trainee at Sisgraph Ltda, a Brazilian reseller for Stratasys and also for IBM Dassault Systèmes division of PLM with CATIA V4, and ever since I've being working with both technologies.As an eye witness of two industrial revolutions, both the 3rd Digital Revolution and the 4th industrial revolution, I've learned that what truly matters is how you share the knowledge of this with your co-workers and how you engage more people to be onboard of the new technologies.Nowadays I am an evangelist for Additive Manufacture and for the concepts behind the 5th revolution, the society revolution. For the first time, all the news in tech are no longer aimed for the industry, but for the people, 3D printers are more accessible than ever, no one needs to take a 40 hours course to learn how to draw in 3D, your Paint3D on Windows does that already, and finally, the advances on AI are a browser away. Sure AI has existed for a long time, but anyone who tries to use Watson from IBM or Predix from GE knew that AI was complicated, hard to learn and with few applications for personal endeavor, now, with Midjourney, Dall-e, ChatGPT, GoogleBard and so many others, AIs are wildly available for everyone.
