Scientific researcher on the topic of sensorless drive and control as well as condition monitoring of electrical machines with particular focus on synchronous motors. Currently researching also in the field of electrically assisted vehicles and, in cooperation with the University of Florence, Italy, on wireless power transmission. Beside the research activity, I deal with the development of embedded systems for electrical actuators, digital and analog electronics, both for signal conditioning systems and power devices.

Scientific researcher on the topic of self sensing techniques for piezoelectric transducers with application to structural vibration damping.

Development and testing of mechatronics systems for electrically assisted vehicles.Detailed aspects are: design and testing of embedded electronics, programming of microcontrollers for specific applications, design and realization of bootloaders for microcontrollers, design and realization of custom communication protocols based on CAN, realization of data logging software for interfacing of mechatronics devices, control of synchronous machines for interaction with human beings.

Developement and testing of embedded systems for sensorless operation of electromagnetic actuators, both for industrial and automotive applications.

Invited professor at the University of Florence for the duration of one month. During this time, I held seminars for doctoral students on the topic of Embedded Drive Systems.
