Formula 1 Power Unit Program Manager, Internal Combustion Engine Development

- Member of the Project's Core Team, I'm working alongside the Head of Vehicle Line, tracking time schedules for project phases and components.- Updating and monitoring Project plan, starting from bottom-ups and critical paths analysis of functional groups development and components.- Transversally to the Project, I'm working with the Senior Planner Manager on the Company' Standard Development Process definition from the very beginning.

- Supported Senior Planner Manager tracking BODY & BIW main suppliers and relative plans in the early phases of the Project.- Description of technical specifications and requirements lists for BODY BIW components.

Transmission loss simulation, frequency response characterisation and fatigue life prediction of a high performance vehicle exhaust component through vibro-acoustic FEM analysis perfomed with Abaqus CAE, Hypermesh and FEMFat softwares.- The study has been object of the master's thesis.

During my experience in the Structural Department of the team, I’ve been in charge of the design and the production of the cockpit components such as the dashboard and the anti-submarine. Moreover, I performed several FEM analysis on complex geometry components as the battery container (and inner elements) and the special piston design. Eventually, in the last months before the race, I directed the cost estimation process of the Department, concluded with the final presentation held at the race in Silverstone.

During the traineeship, I have studied and applied the Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to the production chain. The activities were focused on:- Visual Management aspects, as the optimisation of the plant's layout;- Kanban of assembly karts to reduce stops and enhance efficiency of the assebly processes;- Design and drafting of Standard Operation Procedures to maximize operators' flexibility.Also responsible of the interns' team in charge of the Asset Inventory of the Company.

Design and development of the warehouse's database with Graphic User Interface for non-expert users, accessible by the browser.
