    In my last role (started in 2016) I was in charge of the Global Brand Strategy of National Geographic. I led a team of 35 people, creating insights based on customer trends and consumption patterns to redefine the brand’s role in the world, and building both a functional and emotional connection with consumers.I completed the rebrand of the whole organization and bring to life National Geographic's vision to inspire the explorer in all people through multichannel initiatives and activations (check out Planet or Plastic). I planned and defined multimedia brand campaigns to be rolled out globally and partner with the internal teams to activate the brand in end to end campaign executions (check the brand campaign “Nujeen").I directed the local markets - 65 offices in 171 countries - to embrace and execute the brand strategy and I played the role of consultant in ensuring existing campaigns and brand expressions effectively supported the brand positioning.I built the new branding system, facilitating its adoption across all the business units.
