The activities performed include feasibility studies, basic engineering and design, front-end engineering and design, revamping of process units/plants and upgrading of refineries, assistance to the development of detail engineering. Typical activities and experience:•Definition and/or verification of Process Design Basis and basic design criteria.•Thermodynamic process simulation (PRO/II, Chemcad, Hysys, etc.).•Sizing/check of hydraulic circuits.•Process sizing/check of all refinery equipment such as columns (fractionation towers, strippers, absorbers, etc.), heat exchangers (HTRI), air coolers (HTRI), pumps, vessels (double or three phase separators, surge drums, steam drums, KO drums, etc.), compressors, turbines, furnaces (HTRI, FRNC5) etc. etc. •Calculation and sizing of PSVs, control valves, etc. •Process Flow Diagrams and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams development.•Development of all process documents (equipment / instruments / lines / PSV data sheets; material selection diagram; utilities / chemicals and catalyst consumption summary; electrical load summary; cause & effect chart; Hazardous area classification; operating manuals, etc.)•Coordination with Licensor and Client for relevant process problems.•Assistance to development of detail engineering.The activities as process coordinator include:•Coordination of process teams.•Basic Design Data determination.•Requirements management.•Project documentation.•Interdisciplinary coordination.Specialties Refinery skills include Crude and Vacuum Distillation, Hydrodesulfurization, Hydrocracker, Fluid Catalytic Cracking and all refinery units. Main projects developed in oil and gas field in the past have been hydrocracker unit and mild hydrocracker unit revamping and front-end Engineering, Topping/Vacuum unit design and revamping.Specialties: A big flexibility to study all refinery process units and utilities network has been acquired
