About Emanuele Santacà

Growing up surrounded by the splendor of the Veneto region, I couldn't help but develop a passion for the wine industry. Spending my adolescent summers working the harvest for various vineyards, I developed a vast understanding of winemaking.Taking my passion to Ireland, I was fortunate enough to study under Anke Hartman, achieving my WSET level 2 and 3 in just a year. As my knowledge and passion evolved, I moved into wine sales, finding my feet in Mitchell and Son Wine Merchants.Being very much a people person, I've gotten to enjoy the face to face aspect of sales starting with my first job in the field at the historical wine merchant Mitchell and Son. After gaining experience in the area and getting to know the Irish market, I decided to embark on a new adventure overseas in the United States with Ethica Wines in 2019. I am now the District Manager based in New York City, responsible for managing the portfolio and consolidating relationships in the on-premise and off-premise markets. As an ambitious lifelong wine enthusiast, I am continually looking to broaden my knowledge and experience. Long term, I hope to expand into many different aspects of the industry.
