The control software is then deployed on the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) and tested on a test bench.     My PhD work focused on Waste Heat Recovery (or shortly WHR) technologies. These technologies recover the heat energy from the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. The heat energy is converted to useful mechanical or electrical energy. My focus was on the modeling and control of engines equipped with a WHR system. PhD thesis title: "Auto-calibration for Efficient Diesel Engines with a Waste Heat Recovery System".During my PhD, I wrote numerous scientific articles, guided BSc/MSc students, attended and presented research results to international conferences in the field.
