The control software is then deployed on the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) and tested on a test bench. These technologies not only make engines use less fuel, but also make them cleaner and more environmentally friendly. I achieved these objectives by creating virtual models of the real system. These technologies recover the heat energy from the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. The heat energy is converted to useful mechanical or electrical energy. My focus was on the modeling and control of engines equipped with a WHR system. PhD thesis title: "Auto-calibration for Efficient Diesel Engines with a Waste Heat Recovery System".During my PhD, I wrote numerous scientific articles, guided BSc/MSc students, attended and presented research results to international conferences in the field. -
